01A transcript is not always a subtitle file.
Plain text is useful for notes, editing and search. SRT and VTT include timing. A tool that produces a transcript does not necessarily export your preferred subtitle format on its free plan.
02Check the whole recording, not the headline limit.
A per-file allowance, a daily quota and a monthly media allowance measure different things. Look at your recording length, the number of files and whether another processing attempt uses more allowance.
03Choose by evidence, then test a sample.
The current catalogue records provider documentation. Before committing a long or sensitive recording, test your own short sample and review the provider’s privacy and retention settings.
